How Doktor.se Implemented an Efficient QA Process with Support from TestDevLab

Establishing and Implementing an Efficient QA Process

Prior to Doktor.se teaming up with TestDevLab, the company had no quality assurance process in place. The engineering team conducted basic quality checks, but they could not detect bugs or identify important improvements as quickly and easily as trained QAs would. As one of the biggest providers of digital healthcare in Sweden and providing digital operations across the world, Doktor.se understood the importance of delivering a high-quality and bug-free product. In order to successfully test and validate their product, they needed a reliable QA partner who could provide them with guidance on establishing and implementing an efficient QA process.

Introducing TestDevLab

The collaboration between TestDevLab and Doktor.se initially began with a pilot project where we were asked to test and validate their product against set specifications. Our goal at this stage was to detect bugs and flaws that could prevent users from using the product as intended. During this pilot phase, we were able to demonstrate our software testing capabilities by identifying over 100 issues with their product. These issues – if not addressed early on – could have resulted in a loss of users, damaged the client’s reputation, and cost them a lot of time and money to fix later on.

Following a successful pilot project, Doktor.se became convinced that TestDevLab would be a good fit for them. With the support of TestDevLab, Doktor.se could anticipate and prevent bugs and flaws more efficiently while also maintaining a high-quality product and meeting users’ demands more fully. As a result, they decided to continue working with us and utilize our extensive experience and device coverage. To move forward, the next step was signing a contract.

Our QA team has since been working with seven of the clients' products from different markets around the world in five different languages. Our main tasks involve functional and regression testing on mobile and web platforms. Entrusting us with these tasks allows the client to be sure that their product behaves and works as expected. Our team also actively participates in day-to-day activities, providing engineers and managers with input from different QA perspectives.
