They focus on cloudless AIoT systems, particularly their product Davinsy, which enables real-time, on-device continuous deep learning. Their technology is applied in areas like health, maintenance, and home security, emphasizing minimal data usage and adaptability to changing contexts.

Challenges that led to QA outsourcing

The client had insufficient SDK unit test coverage and SDK functional tests altogether. This raised concerns about software quality, the risk of undiscovered bugs, and potential integration and functionality issues — all negatively impacting user experience and operational efficiency. Such testing gaps increased the likelihood of future failures and maintenance problems. Therefore, seeking independent expert assistance to address these critical quality assurance gaps became a priority.

Introducing TestDevLab - Establishing efficient unit and functional testing

Bondzai.io had one goal - to solve reliability and functionality challenges and improve their position in the market. To help them achieve that, we utilized two software testing types. Firstly, we used Pytest to extensively expand unit test coverage across two bondzai.io SDKs—substantially improving their reliability and robustness in identifying potential issues.

Secondly, we developed a demo application based on ReactJS, harnessing the majority of the SDK’s capabilities. It served not only as a practical SDK implementation but also allowed us to develop and execute UI test automation. With the help of this web-based demo app, we ensured that both functionality and user experience met all the expectations and quality standards set by bondzai.io.
