TestDevLab Goes to SIGNAL 2018 Conference

Next week we are going to San Francisco to attend SIGNAL – developer focused conference for all things communications organized by our client Twilio. This is not the first time when we attend SIGNAL and we love this conference because it is filled with cutting edge speeches and demos from communications domain. I would even say that this is a must-attend conference for those who want to know how communication technologies are advancing. And this conference is totally geeky!

This year we will have our own booth (number: V1) where we will showcase our company and software testing products and services that we have developed. SIGNAL conference attendees will be able to chat with our engineers about every smallest detail of our products:

• Apimation – codeless functional and performance API test automation tool.
• Loadero – tool that simulates traffic to web applications with tons of user configurations available (multiple browsers, region support as well as simulated media streams).

We will show our audio/video quality testing as well as battery/data usage testing solutions for mobile applications. We do audio and video testing under different network conditions with different devices to assess various metrics of media quality. And with battery and data usage testing we can help determine leaks, compare results with your direct competition, make sure that new implementations are not introducing new leaks and more. By utilising these solutions we help our clients make their communication products better and ship faster.

Plus, this year we will have one of our guys as presenter. This is big! Our quality engineer Deniss Locmelis will give a presentation about Functional and Performance Smoke API testing. He will also give a live demo in which he will attempt to automate API Smoke test suite in less than 5 minutes. Fingers crossed!
